Coast Guard General Duty Recruitment 2015 : The Indian Coast Guard
(Ministry of Defence) Excellent Opportunity for Men to become a Group
'A' Gazetted Officer in the rank of Assistant Commandant.
Educational Qualifications: Should hold a Bachelor's degree of recognised university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Mathematics and Physics as subject up to intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education with 60% aggregate marks of both subjects.
Selection Process: (a) Short listing of Applications, (b) Preliminary Selection (Mental Ability Test / Cognitive Aptitude Test and Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT)), (c) Final Selection, (d) Medical Exam, (e) Validity of Selection.
The Preliminary Selection will be conducted in End of April 2015 at following centres or any other centre promulgated by Coast Guard:-
(a) Coast Guard Regional Headquarters (West), Worli Sea Face, PO- Worli Colony, Mumbai - 400030.
(b) Coast Guard Store Depot, CG Complex Near Kalmandapam Police Station, GM Pettai Road, Royapuram, Chennai - 600013.
(c) Coast Guard Selection Board A-1, Sector-24, Opposite HCL Technologies Ltd. District-Gautam Budha Nagar, Noida, UP - 201301.
Medical Standards:
(a) Height - 157 cms minimum. Reduction in height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. regulations.
(b) Weight - Proportionate to the Height and Age, + 10 % acceptable.
(c) Chest - Well proportionate, minimum expansion 5 cms.
(d) Eye Sight - 6/6 6/9 - Uncorrected without Glass, 6/6 6/6 - Corrected with Glass.
