recruitment for Compassionate appointment in Assam Rifles. The Assam
Rifles recruitment rally for COMPASSIONATE APPOINTMENT will be held at
Shillong, (Meghalaya), NRS- Guwahati from 10 March 2015 onwards for
enrolment of 64 vacancies (Male candidates Only) for RIFLEMAN (GENERAL
DUTY) post only. The last date for receipt of application is 30th
January 2015.
Applicability: Compassionate Appointment is applicable as per priority to only ONE dependent family member of Assam Rifles personnel who:-
(a) Priority 1 - Is killed in action.
(b) Priority 2 - Dies while in service (including death by suicide).
(c) Priority 3 - Is retired on medical grounds under Rule 2 of the CCS (Medical Examination) Rules 1957 or the corresponding provision in the Central Civil Service Regulations before attaining the age of 55 years (57 years for erstwhile Group D Govt servants).
(d) Priority 4 - Is retired on medical grounds under Rule 38 of the CCS (Pension) Rules. 1972 'Invalid pension may be granted if a Govt servant retires from the service on account of any bodily or mentally infirmity which permanently incapacitates him for the service" or the corresponding provision in the Central Civil Service Regulations before attaining the age of 55 years (57 years for erstwhile Group 'D' Govt servants).
(e) Priority 5 - Is medically boarded out and is unfit for civil employment.
(f) Priority 6 - Missing Government Servant Cases of missing Government servants are also covered under the scheme for compassionate appointment as per existing policies.
Pay Scale: Pay scale and other allowance will be as admissible to Assam Rifles Personnel.
How to Apply: Candidates shall submit their applications (Prescribed format) addressed to HEADQUARTERS DIRECTORATE GENERAL ASSAM RIFLES (RECRUITMENT BRANCH) LAITKOR, SHILLONG MEGHALAYA -793 010 by 30/01/2015. Applications received thereafter 30 January 2015 will not be entertained.
